Apple Said To Be Launching Another Category Of Ultrathin Air Design Offered In 15-inch Form After setting up a full-fledged market segment of 11 and 13-inch ultrathin Mac Book Air Series, Apple is now ready to launch the 15-inch ultrathin Mac Book Air. Reports say that the new Apple 15-inch Mac Air series are already in the testing phase and are expected to be launched soon. However, it is still not known, whether this new model will be included in the Air Design series or it will be launched as a new Mac Book Pro series. There are various predictions and claims about this. A reputed tech site had claimed earlier that Apple may launch a new 15-inch Mac model that would be a part of the Apple Mac Book Pro series. On the other hand, another web site had claimed it to be a part of the ultrathin Mac Book Air series. Though, the confusion still persists, it would be more demanding, if the ultrathin Mac Air laptop comes in larger sizes. As the Air series is available only in 11 and 13 inches till now, it would be more interesting if it comes in 15 inches. Coming ahead of the size aspect, another question that arises with the release of this 15-inch Mac Book model is that, whether it will be released with the currently ongoing Intel Sandy Bridge processors or will the release delay till 2012, when a new and more appealing Ivy Bridge chips are brought in? These Ivy Bridge chips are said to have much more interesting features like an in-built graphics processor that will make it compliant with the OpenCL technology for better gaming and multimedia operations. Further, these Ivy Bridge chips are also said to support USB 3.0 for better storage. All these features are beneficial and worthy, if looked on prospect of the new 15-inch Mac Book model. Hence, the question that still lies is that whether the new 15-inch ultrathin Mac book will wait for the launch of the Ivy Bridge chips to be included in its processor, or will it be launched with the Intel Sandy Bridge processors alone? 3 Responses to Apple Said To Be Launching Another Category Of Ultrathin Air Design Offered In 15-inch Form Leave a Reply |
