Computer Tips – Activate or deactivate Internet Explorer 7 Multiple Tab Browsing

Internet Explorer 6 and 7 doesn’t have much dissimilarity. But two differences among the two are quite significant and evident. Internet Explorer 7 is the one that showcases two noteworthy features and they are the improved security and tabbed browsing facility. But in case you do not find tabbed browsing important enough for getting your purpose solved, you may consider disabling the Multiple Tab Browsing in Internet Explorer 7 or even enable it back when required.

Follow the computer tips to Enable or Disable Multiple Tab Browsing in Internet Explorer 7:

• Start with opening your Internet Explorer 7.
• Navigate to ‘Tools’ displayed on the menu bar.
• Click on ‘Tools’ menu and select Internet Options.
• A box gets displayed. Go to the ‘General Tab’.
•  Under the heading ‘TABS’ click to select the settings button.
• To enable tabbed browsing, leave ticked the box just next to ‘Enable Tabbed Browsing’.
• To disable, uncheck the same box.
• Then click on ‘OK’.
• Now restart the PC so that the modifications take effect.
