Import your favorite Emoticons with the help of Microsoft Office Communicator

By now all Internet users are well acquainted with Emoticons which are a type of computer icons. These icons are used to display various facial expressions designed to express different corresponding emotions. We are highly familiar with the classic smiley emoticons, the sad face emoticons which are quite extensively used in a text message or at the extreme end of a micro-blog post.

We also often use emoticons in instant messages (IMs). Various communicator clients come with a host of emoticons as in Microsoft Office communicator which you can import to an IM. Follow the simple process provided below:

• Firstly, click to open the Communicator
• Now click on the “Instant message settings” button
• Select the checkbox next to “Show emoticons in instant messages,”, click on “Apply”
• Begin a new IM conversation
• Now click on the smiley face icon, further click on an emoticon that you want to select and import.
• Insert the emoticon ahead of or next to the text
• Click on “Send” or press the “Enter” key to send the emoticon to the receiver.
